Located in the iconic Plaça de la Constitució in Sa Pobla, Bar Casa Miss is a social and gastronomic landmark with more than five decades of history. Since its opening in 1967, this family-run establishment has been an essential meeting point, passed down from one generation to the next.
Founded by Jaume Mir Serra and Apolònia Tugores, the bar owes its name to their daughter Magdalena, crowned Miss Mallorca in 1966. Today, the business is led by Jaume Mir, who has successfully combined innovation and modernity without losing the essence that has made Casa Miss such a special place.
Casa Miss’s cuisine is its hallmark, renowned for its famous variats and tapas. Traditional dishes such as tongue, tripe stew, frit mariner, and the acclaimed “Miss Vermut” — awarded Best Vermouth in the Balearic Islands in 2024 — are part of its exquisite offering. In addition, the menu includes customizable options, vegan alternatives, and a wide selection of pinchos.
Recently, Casa Miss received the award for Best Tapa at the 2024 Ruta de Tapes with Rosa Blanca. The winning dish, Taco Mallorquí Xesc Reina, reflects the bar’s commitment to the island’s most authentic flavors. This tapa combines pork from Can Company with a touch of Xesc Reina’s spicy sobrasada essence, accompanied by fresh vegetables and strands of spicy red pepper.
